PCS's three choirs will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Declaration of Independence. PCS will present two works with guest orchestra: Redeem the Dream by Brandon Boyd, with a text by Langston Hughes, and Michael Bussewitz-Quarm’s US, which includes quotations about citizenship from founding fathers to living Americans.
December Concert - Rejoice in the Light

Rejoice in the Light is a holiday concert designed to bring warmth and light in the darkest time of the year. PCS’s Symphonic Choir and Youth Choir will perform carols from around the world and other seasonal favorites to spread holiday cheer!

April/May Concert - Walk in Beauty, Walk in Light

The PCS Symphonic Choir and Chamber Choir close the season with a concert featuring two masterworks. Symphonic Choir will sing Joseph Haydn’s St. Nicolai Mass from the Classical Era, and Chamber Choir will sing the new work Walk in Beauty, Walk in Light by Portland-based composer Judy Rose.
