In a special meeting, the PCS Board of Directors met to discuss and decide on COVID 19 mitigation measures the organization might carry out to protect its members and singers. The resulting mandate was announced to members and put in place on Thursday, August 12: “Palouse Choral Society board of directors requires that during PCS rehearsals all singing members be fully vaccinated by September 13, 2021 (2nd shot received by August 30 or J&J by August 15) and wear kn95 masks for the foreseeable future. This mandate will be reviewed as new American Choral Directors Association and Center for Disease Control recommendations are available.”
It is the board’s sincerest hope that this will keep all members safe from infection.
